Year round good sailing wind with warm temperatures are the norm for the Gulf of Thailand. From November to May the wind is from the North East with dry winds and flat seas. For the rest of the year the SW monsoon is blowing and this brings good wind with sparkling days but occasional thunderstorms and some rainfall so this is considered the sailing shool season and is a great time to learn to sail season.

Affordable prices...

It is an attraction of Thailand that you can spend your time in the country at very reasonable cost in terms of transport accommodation and food. It is a fact that you can eat superb Thai meals at roadside restaurants for just a dollar or two, jump on a local pick up bus for less than a dollar and find good clean accommodation for less than 15 USD per night.

Many of our sailing school students combine their sailing school course with a holiday in Thailand in one of the beautiful coastline resorts, or in the culture rich city of Bangkok or exploring the stunning mountain passes of Chang Mai or the National Park at Khao Yai.

These factors when combined with the relatively low cost of air travel to Thailand and the well priced Gulf Charter Sailing School makes Thailand an attractive destination from all viewpoints.
