The primary yacht used by our sailing school is our Beneteau 46, you can see details below. S/v Constanza is a performance cruising yacht, she was built in the days when sailing performance was of primary importance, her hull was designed by Bruce Farr, today one the worlds most renowned racing yacht designers. Certainly no charter barge! Constanza sports a set of racing sails and has won many of the regions major regattas.
Constanza is also comfortable, she has 4 twin cabins, two separate heads, and a large cockpit, refrigerator, electric anchor windlass GPS charter plotter and autopilot; she really is a perfect boat to learn on. All that said, there are times when we may change the yacht we use for the school due to maintenance or to better suite the crew make up (few people for example). If it is important to you to know which boat you will be training on please let us know.
If you intend to take a private school you may choose to do so on any yacht in our fleet, for instance if you're planning to pursue catamaran sailing then we can teach you on one of our catamarans.
