About Us

Located in the Gulf of Thailand, Gulf Charters Sailing School is the premier “Learn to Sail” facility in South East Asia for students who want to learn to handle a charter or live aboard cruising yacht on their own. We offer three International Yacht Training (IYT) certificate courses: Crew, Watchkeeper and Bareboat Captain.

Our regularly scheduled courses can be taken individually or together by enrolling in one of our Value Package offers like the 14day Zero to Hero program which runs every month of the year.

We also offer exciting milebuilder, delivery, racing and adventure sailing  opportunities to get students out on the water as often as possible.

At Gulf Charters  Sailing School we take pride in our ability to teach students to sail in a responsible and seamanlike manner, and to impart our own love and appreciation of the sea. We endeavor to provide a learning environment, both on and off the water, which promotes nautical interest and develops the skills needed to make the most of your boating experience and the time you spend at sea.

Our graduate’s are currently sailing yachts on their own all over the world and they carry the valuable lessons learned at Gulf Charter Sailing School with them whether day sailing or circumnavigating.
